Man I can't believe it's almost April already. I feel like I start every blog entry with "where has the time gone" or something comparable. The title of the blog says it all and all I have to say is it might be a LONG road ahead. Bennett had his first tooth/teeth cut through yesterday and suffice it to say he was NOT a happy camper. He was pretty fussy all day and I wondered if this was happening. Well Jeff and I were enjoying a lovely dinner out celebrating me passing my real estate exam (YIPPEE)when I got a text message from home that Bennett was extremely unhappy. Luckily Aunt Jenna was over along with Grandma Starmer and between the two of them calmed him down. It took some Tylenol and baby orajel but he settled and went to sleep for the night. I was expecting him to wake up several times last night but to my surprise he didn't wake up until 7:30 a.m. Poor baby was exhausted and beat from his painful day. Today was much better as I did what I could to keep the pain under control. I have no idea what to expect moving forward but I will have orajel on hand at all times along with the Tylenol close by.
Besides the painful teething Bennett is doing great. He is such a happy baby. His smiles and giggles literally light up the room. Daycare tells me that he just laughs and smiles all day long. Not many babies that age are so happy but we are very lucky and blessed. We are working with him to roll over and when I actually think about that maybe I should be encouraging him to be mobile. It will be here before I know it and then there will be no more dinners out with him as content as can be confined to his carrier.
As I mentioned above I passed my real estate exam so I now have my license! I am so happy to havce this under my belt as I have been working on this for sometime but got a bit delayed with getting pregnant and having a new baby in the house. Nonetheless it's now done and I couldn't be happier!
Hope all is well with you and your families. Until next time I leave you with some new pictures of who other than the cuttest baby in the world!!!
