Wednesday's Dr's appointment showed some progress. Baby Starmer is moving his way down the birth canal and is sitting (stomping) on my bladder. Doesn't feel that great let me tell you.
Dilation and effacement hasn't changed much. I really hope this little man shows his face on his own without having to be induced. 13 days and counting... till the due date that is!!

This week's Dr's appointment proved to be no change:( I was hoping for some progress but no such luck. We are just waiting and anticipating the moment that I know I am in labor. At this point I would be happy if that happened today ( I think).
We officially have everything ready to go (again I think) so now it's a waiting game. I just know I'm going to be the first women who's baby doesn't come out:) That would be my luck.
Hopefully I will have new news (complete with baby pics) very soon!!!

Baby Starmer
Today I had my first "weekly" check with the Doctor. She says everything looks great and baby is on track. I am 1" dilated and 50% effaced (for those of you who are familiar with what that means). Baby is in position and the Dr said she even felt his head. I thought that was SUPER weird.
I have a whirl wind of emotions racing through me and am trying to focus on meeting my son and not the other "scary" things. I have a new found respect for the women's body and the miracle of child birth. It is truly amazing when you consider the miraculous development of a baby inside of you.

Dixie
I can't start a blog without introducing our favorite puppy! She will likely not get the attention she is use to very soon. Dixie is a great dog and we are confident that she will be great with our soon-to-be little one. She is equally excited to make use of the nursery as it seems to be her favorite room in the house.
Bronco's Game
Ok so I'm a little late with posting about the game, but better late then never. Jeff and I went to Denver last weekend to visit our good friends Jori and Ryan. It was awesome to spend some quality time with Jori as it's been a long time since we've had the opportunity to do that. We had a great time and loved the game. Jeff LOVES the bronco's and has never seen a game live. It is something that we will definitely have to do again. We hope to plan a trip next year to see Jori, Ryan ans Cael with our little one.

EXHAUSTED

So nobody told me that I was going to be exhausted in the last weeks of my pregnancy. I can't seem to get enough sleep and good thing because I'm sure I won't be getting much of any in the days ahead. Jeff and I are anxiously awaiting our little guy now that the nursery is complete. I'm scared to death to give birth, but excited to finally meet my little man. 5 more weeks to go.....

Newbe

Hello All- I am new to this "blogging" thing, but have been told it's a great way to keep in touch. With a baby on the way (due 11/13) I thought this would be a great way for my family and friends who live outside of Omaha to see what our family is up to. I am going to need some coaching along the way (Jori that's where you come in) so I can create a fun blog for all to see.
I will have to get better at taking pictures and blogging about my day, but I'm sure it will be fun! It will give me something to do in all my free time once the baby is born (ha ha).
